Some weekends are about relaxing, others about spending time with family and friends, and others are about knocking things off your to-do list. For me, this weekend will likely be a mix of to-dos and relaxing. Still, I’m hoping to dive into some fun entertainment and will bring you my thoughts very soon.
Movies
Companion – this one has been on my radar for a while and it looks great. Early reviews are looking promising too! I have heard some rumors that the trailers give away too much, so if you haven’t seen them yet maybe consider avoiding them. Otherwise, I think this one has a lot of potential.
Dog Man – once a kid, always a kid, right? Most of what I’ve shared here recently has been horror but I do love a good kids movie. Plus the casting of voice actors leaves me pretty intrigued. Not expecting anything amazing, but looks like a good time. Just might choose a showtime when there aren’t tons of kids running around.
Television
Severence Season 2 Episode 3 – Ok yall, very rarely does a show live up to the hype, especially after such an incredible first season but so far season 2 has been everything I’d hoped it would be. I can’t wait to see what this week’s installment has in store for us especially after episodes 1 and 2 being solely dedicated to covering the “Innies” and then the “Outies” – do we go back to a blend? We shall see!
Books
Holly – I thought I would’ve finished this one by now but it’s been a hectic week and I haven’t had as much time to read as I would’ve thought. That being said, I should finish it today and I’m looking forward to sharing my thoughts with you!
Butcher & Blackbird – this one came up as available at my library this morning so I went ahead and snagged it. Rival murderers, who team up to hunt other serial killers? Ok, I’m interested.
