Who approved this week feeling like it was at least two weeks long? Did it feel never-ending to anyone else?
At least for me, it wasn’t a bad week but it wasn’t an especially good one either. Here’s to hoping this weekend ushers in a smooth week ahead. In the meantime, here’s what I’ll be getting into.
Movies
Captain America: Brave New World – My go-to strategy is to see movies the week after they release so the obnoxious people won’t be filling the theater. Due to other plans, there’s a chance this one may not happen but if I make it over to the theater, it’ll most likely be for this.
Television
Severance, Season 2 – When I say, “guess what day it is!” I no longer even mean Friday. I mean it’s Severence day. Best day of the week.
The White Lotus, Season 3 – I can’t believe I left this off last week when it premiered. I was counting down to the release and still forgot. While I typically watch on Monday instead of staying up for it on Sunday, it gives my Monday purpose…even if that purpose is actively avoiding spoilers.
Books
Variation (Rebecca Yarros) – I’m so looking forward to writing about this one later. I’ve been listening to the audiobook during my runs for a couple weeks now and it’s not at all what I expected. It’s better.
No One Can Know (Kate Alice Marshall) – I haven’t started this one yet, but it’s next up on my list. I don’t know much about it, but I’ve had it on hold at my library for months so no time like the present to find out.
